Little Known Facts
About our Little Known Facts Stories...

We want you to know!

The stories we present on Little Known Facts are not only fun and informative; they are to the best of our ability a true and accurate representation of the facts.   Each and every story is researched and verified through no less than three printed sources before it is used on our program.   We can proudly say that after five years and 1400+ stories, we have only used one story that we could not back up with verifiable reliable sources and we truly regret that one.

We never use a source from the internet for our stories.   While the web is a fun place to spend time and can be very educational, it has also been proven by numerous educational authorities to have enormous amounts of inaccurate information.  After all, anyone can paste up a web page today, and often do.  According to one study done by a South Carolina University research team, less than 70% of the information contained  in school history books is actually accurate.  The web is much worse!

Occasionally we receive letters from our fans disputing a story.   They have either read or heard another version of an event or story somewhere.   We understand that.   Rumors and misinformation abound in our society.    One of the reasons we have such a popular show is that we put to rest many errors of history and tell little known or disputed facts.  Again, we do not use a story without first finding three independent printed sources of verification - but never a web site.

If you have heard or read a Little Known Facts story that you wish to question, we welcome it.  After all, we are called, Little Known Facts, not Little Known Rumors!  We want our stories to be as accurate as possible.     But if you write us concerning a story,  please include the printed sources from where you got your information (by name, title, author and publisher), so that we too can verify the facts and make a correction if necessary.  And we thank you in advance for doing so!

Thanks so much for being a fan of our stories!
