CTS CONSULTING, INC.

Food for Thought
Part Two

Last month featured twenty-five bits, pieces, and observations.

This month features twenty-five more.

Enjoy!

  1. People are as healthy as their biggest secret.

  1. Who said you have to take “the good with the bad”?

  1. We are born brilliant and “dumb out” as we get older.

  1. Relax. Nobody’s watching.

  1. Only mothers of newborns work 168 hours a week. All other jobs are part-time jobs.

  1. Contrary to what your children tell you, boredom is not a  terminal illness.

  1. The choice between staying late at the office and going home is no choice. Go HOME.

  1. If God could feel justified about taking a day off, so can you.

  1. People often speak of “innocent victims.” Who are the “deserving victims”?

  1. When you don’t know what you don’t know, you think you know more than you know.

  1. Anyone who will gossip with you will gossip about you.

  1. People take us about as seriously as we take ourselves.

  1. Attitude is everything when it comes to...anything.

  1. We need recognition more often than we like to admit.

  1. You can  always make more money. You can never make more time.

  1. Self-pity, if done properly is a full-time job.

  1. We are all hypocrites about something.

  1. There is no such thing as a small lie.

  1. A true friend will tell you the truth even if you don’t want to hear it.

  1. You don’t know what you can’t do. You only know what you haven’t done.

  1. Whenever a person begins a conversation  with, “Its not about the money” You can be guaranteed "It's about the money."

  1. If it’s so lonely at the top why don’t more people leave when they get there?

  1. Chronically late people think their time is more important than your time. They just don’t have the guts to say so.

  1. Nothing is as easy as giving someone else advice

  1. Love your children uniquely. Love your spouse first.

 So there it is.

Hopefully these twenty-five observations have given you some ideas to chew on.
